Right to Know: A consumer has the right to know what rights are under the consumer privacy act, what information is being collected, how information will be used (including if it will be shared with third parties), if and with whom that information will be shared to.
Right to Access: A consumer has the right to request that a business which collects personal information about the consumer disclose the categories of personal information it has collected about them, the categories of sources from which the personal information is collected, the business or commercial purposes of collection or selling personal information, the categories of third parties with whom the business shares personal information and the specific pieces of personal information it has collected.
Do Not Sell My Personal Information: A consumer has the right to, at any time, direct a business that sells personal information about the consumer to third parites not to sell (or rent) the consumer's personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Right to Erasure: A consumer has the right to request a business must delete all information they have about a consumer. Exceptions include data being processed and retained to complete a consumer-requested transaction, specific research purposes, limited analytical uses, and other regulatory and contractual exceptions.
