Size Charts

Our size charts are available in both inches and centimeters and include measuring instructions. If you are unsure about size, please take your measurements. Doing so will greatly reduce the guesswork - and the need to return something that doesn't fit! If you have any questions regarding fit, sizes or taking your measurements, please call us at: US: 1-800-587-1541 Canada: 1-800-400-5845.

Room to Grow

We know how you feel: there's no way you can still be wearing your regular size, right? Trust us, your body is changing but your size isn't. When our Fit Experts developed the measurements and fit specifications for each of our maternity garments, we took into account the added inches you acquire. So your Lands' End Maternity size corresponds with the size you normally wear.

How to Determine Your Size

Your regular numerical pre-pregnancy size is the best place to start. But to get the most precise size, we recommend using a tape measure. Compare your measurements to our size chart and you'll find the best fit.

Other Considerations

  • Lands' End Maternity garments allow room for an average weight gain of about 25-35 lbs.
  • For garments that are sized S, M, L, please note: Lands' End letter sizes are within a range. For instance, Lands' End Small fits sizes 6 - 8. Lands' End Medium fits sizes 10 - 12. If you are a size 6 (or at the lower end of a range), you should order a Small - you do not need to size up to a Medium to accomodate your pregnancy.
  • If you are carrying multiples or if you feel you will be gaining more than the average pregnancy weight gain, we suggest going up one size.
  • Our Maternity clothes are designed to grow with you, with special features including adjustable buttonhole elastic, stretch fabrics, elastic waistbands, stretchy panels and more. Please consult each product page to learn more details about how the garment was designed.

Lands' End Maternity Pants

  • Every woman starts to show at a different time. For the most part, women start to buy maternity pants around the 5th month.
  • In your early months, you might pull the waistband up and over your natural waistline, probably folding the band over.
  • Of course, every woman and pregnancy is different - as always, your judgment is your best guide as to when you purchase maternity pants.

Lands' End Maternity Tops

We balance the sweep in our maternity hemlines so the front is cut longer than the back which means as you expand outward, your hem will remain even around your circumference.

Future Arrivals?

Like your baby, we're starting small with a few Lands' End Maternity basics to offer you. Everything is brimming with the same quality fabrics and details Lands' End is known for.
